Be part of the Down’s Syndrome Association’s first ever Swimathon

This summer, the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) is holding their first ever sponsored swim at the highly acclaimed London Aquatics Centre, the swimming facility built especially for the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, on Saturday 16th July.

Feel like a real Olympic champion as the event will be taking place in the famous 25m diving pool, with crowds of friendly faces to cheer you on from the sidelines. If you’re only a beginner don’t worry – there will be a number of challenges available for all swimming abilities and you can either take part as an individual or as a team.

Until the 26 June you don’t have to pay a registration fee to take part…visit the website to find out more:

If you love swimming but aren’t sure about completing a challenge we will be hosting our very own pool party! The party will run from 4pm and will be a fantastic opportunity for our supporters to chat, relax and have a fun splash around in the Olympic pool. Entry to the party is just £5 for adults and £3 for under 16’s.

Supporters, fans and participants families are also very welcome to join us in the stands too. Entry to the party is just £5 for adults and £3 for under 16’s.
