Club Booking Procedure

Club Booking Procedure

The venue policy has been evolved to ensure fair access for all swimmers and club bookings.

Facility Objectives for Competitive Swimming
• To ensure that the legacy of the Olympic Facility creates an improved performance pathway for Swimming in London.
• To allow the ASA to create a performance pathway to achieve the above whilst allowing access to clubs to use the facility in the opening stages.

• The UEL/Newham Talent Programme will have prioritised access and a long term agreement that will allow expansion over time.
• All other club bookings will be able to hire on a weekly basis via a quarterly hire.
• One off bookings / training camps.
• Major events will take precedent over bookings and a 28 day notice period will be given to hirers.
• Where clubs require the same space, hire will be given based on our priority booking list.
• No pool time is guaranteed beyond the length of a quarterly contract.

Priority Levels
• Newham Talent Programme- Swimmers training under the guidance of the Performance Programme Head Coach.
• Host Borough Clubs- Swim 21 accredited swimming clubs based in Newham, Waltham Forest, Barking and Dagenham, Tower Hamlets, Greenwich and Hackney.
• Other Host Borough Clubs- Accredited and affiliated clubs and non swim 21 accredited clubs from Host Boroughs.
• Other London Clubs – Accredited and affiliated clubs and swim 21 accredited clubs from London outside of Host Boroughs.
• All other clubs.
